Resolved: Lands End - Unacceptable Shipping Delays

New ReviewerCompany fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. A supervisor, Heidi was able to contact the warehouse and have my order shipped right away. All items have been received and I received a $25 coupon for a future order.
I placed my order on September 27. All items were in stock according to the website.
I received two of the six items. I called last week to ask when the rest of my order would be shipped. I was told about their warehouse issues and that I should receive the items this week. I utilized the chat feature yesterday only to find out that it may take two weeks or longer to ship.
I wonder if they are deliberately holding back orders hoping for cancellations because they were on sale for very good prices.
I will hold out in the hopes of eventually receiving the items since they are Christmas gifts, but I no longer trust this company.
Something fishy is going on here that may need to be brought to the attention of Consumer Affairs. This is more than poor customer service.
